The Organic Trade Association has worked in partnership with Cotton, Inc. for more than a decade to understand and articulate the factors affecting domestic organic cotton production. A small but dedicated contingent of cotton farmers persist in their efforts to cultivate this crop organically, despite inordinate pressures posed by climate, pests and a host of other challenges.
